Labor day weekend we celebrated the reidhead family reunion with Joshs family. Its pretty amazing that there was 5 generations there. This year we didn't camp out since josh had to work everyday this weekend, but we did get to go out Saturday and Sunday night. It was nice to sit around eat good dutch oven food and enjoy each others company. Cooper loved playing in the dirt, building pretend firers, running wild, cooking marshmallows, and best of all playing with his cousins. We had a great time and can't wait til next year!
Yum! Marshmallows!
Cooper with his cousins Jaden, Taya, Marissa, and Ellie
Great Grandma Despain, Grandma Brewer, Grandma Despain all have there eyes on Cooper.
This picture explains why they call it the big dirty! Coop had a blast!

Rock'in Roll Dinosaurs
Today i had some music playing while i was cleaning
and this is what i found when i walked into Coops playroom.
Coop and his friend Christian were rock'in out!
These two boys were singing so loud and they had some really
good dance moves!
They said their band was called
Rock'in Roll Dinosaurs.
These two are trouble most of the time
but they always
give me a good laugh!

Josh and I were up stairs getting ready for church this morning. Cooper was down stairs getting chewy out of his bed to take him outside to go to the bathroom. The next thing we hear is Cooper crying for his mom screaming. So josh and i took off down stairs and this is what we found. Cooper was stuck! It was to funny!
On another note, Chewy is sick and we are hoping that's its not parvo. Cooper is having a really hard time. Coop keeps on saying, "Scobby Doo doesn't get sick." Poor puppy and poor Cooper! Chewy is going to the vet tomorrow so hopefully we can get him better.

My little artist
Coopers first experience with a paint brush. I love to paint and do crafty things but i haven't let cooper paint with me until today. Coop loved it and he was so proud of his train. I think we have a little Norman Rockwell on our hands!

Say hello to
Chewy! Cooper got a puppy! I call him hairy monster! Josh has always been a dog lover and I've never been. I've always felt bad because Josh is so happy around animals. Cooper has pretty much been like me. Poor boy! So when Josh's aunt Barbara gave us a good deal on her Shihtzu puppies and josh came home with the news plus his big smile on his face it was really hard to say no. So i said if Cooper like them then we will get one. We went over to her house last night Cooper was excited but that's usually how he is before he sees the animals then when the animals are around he scared to death and won't get down. But Cooper loved them and he loves his puppy and he was going to take Chewy home no matter what. Cooper won't even let Chewy down he just carries Chewy around all day and if anyone comes to see his puppy Cooper will say, "it my puppy not yours." I'm doing pretty good too. Its so small so that makes it easy to be around and I've even had the courage to hold Chewy. The smiles on both my boys faces are worth having Chewy around. Wish me luck!

My silly dad had another accident
My dad had a car wreck this morning. He's doing fine just a little shaken up and a couple of scraps, bruises, stiff muscles and a beat up mail jeep. He was on his way to work and went through the light next to the Ferrel's auto shop and he's says the light was green when he went through but the truck that hit him said it was red. The other guy is fine it hardly did anything to his truck and when he got out of his truck the man came and gave my dad a big hug. My poor mom comes driving about ten minuets after the accident to take Gunner to school and see's my dads mail truck all beat up and my dad standing by it with a smile waving at her. My dad is defiantly being watched over and has more then nine lives. These are just few things my dad has survived through, pushed down the stairs by his brother clay when he was three and broke his neck which should of paralyzed him, driving to work and his steering wheel coming off, tipping his dump truck, tipping a tractor, tipping a 3 wheelers more than just once, falling form his cabin which was 17 ft. high and breaking his neck a second time, this happen just last week grading his road with his tractor and the wheel falling off, and then today having a car wreck. I could go on and on about more but i don't want to embarrass him. I sure do love my dad he's such a cool guy. He can always give you a good laugh. I'm so thankful for the guarding angels that are watching him. Maybe i shouldn't let Cooper ride the 4 wheeler with him anymore! Ha ha! I love you dad!

I"m just a boy
This morning I was walking around the house picking up things and I accidentally stepped on Coopers toes and Cooper looked at me and said, "Mom I'm not a SPIDER!" Then i said, "well what are you?" Cooper answered, "I'm just a boy and you don't step on boys." Then Cooper walked away shaking his head like I was so stupid that i thought he was a spider. I really don't know what I'm going to do with him he's only three and he's just a boy!

We were so young and in love

Josh and I went on are first date when i turned twenty. It still feels like yesterday when I think of our first date. I can remember how nervous Josh was. Josh had only been home for a couple of weeks from his mission and i was his first date. He was asking the missionary questions and i was just as stupid as always. We went to the movie Rush hour 2 with his cousins and then just him and i went to Denny's for a shake. I kind of put him on the spot when i told him it was my birthday. Josh was so nervous that you could see it in his eyes and facial expression that he didn't know what to say or do but he played it cool and said happy birthday. Its crazy that I've celebrated 7 of my birthdays with Josh and each birthday he always finds a way to surprise me. This is my favorite time of year because its the time of year that josh and i found each other and fell in love. Josh thanks for the sweet comment below. I love you too.

Enjoying the ranch life
Yes that is a live goat standing on a log! Its a mountain goat and he stood on that log forever. I've never seen anything like that, it was hilarious!
Saturday we had a Despain family get together on there ranch. This was the first time Josh had every taken me and it was the first time I've ever heard about it. I guess he thought it might scare me off but i had so much fun and Cooper enjoyed the animals even though he wouldn't touch them and we had to hold him because he was to scared to get down. He is to much like me. Josh's grandpa was all smiles showing us his horses, and talking about them. We had a great time even though Josh told me afterwards that the sloppy joes we ate had snake meat in them. Good thing i only took a little bit. I hope josh is just kidding! Anyways we had a fun time and it was nice to get to know the Despain side a little better.

We have a sleep walker! We have caught Cooper walking in his sleep two nights in a row. We have a really old house and Coop's bedroom is upstairs. Coop will walk down stairs into the living room to the kitchen through a bathroom into the playroom then come into the master bedroom and just look at us. Its crazy! I just hope and pray he doesn't get hurt sleep walking.
