Just something fun.

I've been making baby shoe's/slippers whatever you want to call these.

Its just something fun and its all done by hand. Its kind of a stress relief. The girl ones i made for Brooklynn and Mallory. Cooper and Gunner also asked for a pair and I just finished Coopers. And I just found a pattern that will be perfect for summer shoes that I'm going to have to try. I will post them if they turn out.

So what do you think? Do you like them?

Oh my Cooper

Yesterday after Cooper beat me in a game of gold fish and told me that I was lame for losing. He started talking about when it was just the 3 of us and no Bruiser. I asked him where was Bruiser and he said, "he was still stuck in sea weed." Then he told me that I should go eat lots of sea weed because he wants lots of brothers and sisters. He loves being a big brother.

I have no clue how he came up with sea weed making babies but that's what he thinks. Should I try to tell him the truth? Not all the truth, only the truth that a 5 year old should know. What do you think? Or should I let him go around saying his mom ate sea weed so he could be a big brother?

family time and a little peek into my parents house.

We got a visit from Malli Cat.

Isn't she adorable?

So cute.

Also Misti is home for the week.
She played her last college bball game on Friday and she did awesome but more about her and ball later right now we are just enjoying having a sister and aunt around for a week.
Misti and Stratton taught Cooper the chicken dance.
He loves it.

Now a little peek into my parents home.
For all of you that don't know my parents lived with Josh and I for 8 months while they built their house. They still have lots to do to finish it but its getting closer everyday.
My favorite part of the house is the family room.
I love how open it is, the windows and how cozy it feels.

The kitchen. There's still a couple things they need to finish here but its getting there.

This is what the ceiling looks like inside. My mom stained every piece of wood up there. Yep, my parents did almost everything in this house by themselves. Lots of hard work and love went into it.

And it wouldn't be a Caldwell house if it didn't have a place to play basketball.

Hope you have a great week. I will be enjoying it with my sister!

i wished these moments would last forever.

I'm so grateful for Josh.
My kids can never say I didn't give them anything because I gave them the best dad ever.
I asked Cooper and Brewer what they liked about their dad and this is their answers.
Cooper says, "dad is my best friend."
Brewer gave a big SMILE.
They love their daddy and so do I.

I heard the weather is supposed to be nice:)
And good luck to Misti she's playing for nationals, pretty cool.
I will be watching her on my puter at 3 tomorrow

Love this boy.
I could nibble on him all day long.
I love to hear his high pitch scream in the morning.
He loves to grab toys and talk to them.
He loves to watch his big brother play.
He loves FOOD.
He can kind of sit up by himself.
Doesn't like to role much.
Loves it when daddy is home.
Loves to sit on your lap and jump. It looks like he's riding a horse.
He loves to sleep.
He loves Grandpa Caldwell's facial hair.
Loves to cuddle.
He loves to suck his pointer finger.
He loves to pull his socks off.
He has curly hair.
He has the cutes smile ever.
I love him.

today i felt famous

just a little bit.

Did you know that Josh and I were the first couple married in the Snowflake Temple?

I remember sitting on the couch watching General Conference with my family when they announced the building of the Snowflake Temple. I remember going to school the next day talking with friends about the Temple and someone said, "wouldn't it be cool to be the first one married there." When Josh asked me to marry him we didn't even think we would be the first. We just wanted to get married. So when we heard that the Temple was opening the beginning of March we knew we would get married there. Our parents called around to see who to talk to about our marriage plans but it was kind of hard because we didn't know who was in charge yet. So making our invitations was kind of impossible. So we just put March 5Th hoping that the the Temple would be open then. Then about a week before the opening we got a letter in the mail saying to be at the temple at 8 am on March 5Th for our sealing.

Our wedding day was crazy. It was the first for everyone. The temple workers were all over the place everything was not only new to me but to them as well. They had Josh and I show up 2 hours early just so they could make sure everything was going to be just right and it was. Then at 10:30 am Josh and I were sealed for all time and eternity. Really that's all we wanted but its pretty neat to think that at 10:30 am on March 5Th we were the the first ones married in the Snowflake Temple.

Today one of the temple workers came by for a picture of Josh and I on our wedding day in front of the Temple. she was having a dinner with all the the temple workers from that day and wanted to have a picture of us there. It made me feel pretty famous. Not really but it made my day pretty special!

He makes us laugh!

Bruiser was crying and Cooper told him, "don't get mad get glad."
Last night we let Coop sleep in our bed with us and he was asking his dad lots of questions. He asked Josh if Heavenly Father watches him all the time? Of course Josh said, "yes!" Then Cooper asked, "does Heavenly Father watch me go to McDonald's?" Josh said, "Yep." Then Coop said, "sooo does he order food too?"

We love our Coop Dog! He's one funny boy.
