We did it! Happy number 8!

The first time I met Josh was my freshman year, he was a junior. I was sitting in my six hour art class and in walks a tall, skinny, dark curly hair boy with crutches. He sat to the right side of me. Through out the middle of the class year we started talking. We would play paper football during class or I would actually draw and he would watch and talk. He was funny and had a cute smile. I think he liked my legs because he would tell me often how he like my legs. We were friends.

Today as I write this I sit across from that tall, skinny, dark curly hair boy. He still makes me laugh with his funny personality and he still has that cute smile. He still tells me he likes my legs and we still play paper football together. The only thing that has changed is that we are in love and Friday we are going to celebrate our 8th anniversary together. We still lay in bed and talk about art class. We still remember some of our conversations and laugh at how silly we were. Josh always tells me how he wanted to ask me out but was scared he wasn't good enough for me but to me he did because when I'm around him i still feel like that tall, skinny, long dark hair school girl that had a crush on him.

I love my Joshua!
Josh thanks for growing old with me.
love your girl,
Marti

small town politics

I've never talked politics on my blog and don't really want to but,
what the crazy is going on in Taylor?
I haven't heard anything about this.
Yesterday I needed to get out of the house and so I took the boys for a happy hour sonic run. I really needed a diet dr. pepper with vanilla. After sonic Cooper didn't want to go home and so we took a drive around Taylor and they had signs everywhere. It was nuts. But I really have no clue whats going on so whats your honest opinion about combining or not combining our towns?
happy weekend!

My little guy

has a small case of RSV.

Today he woke up happy

and is starting to look more like himself.

I think the breathing treatments are helping.

But I can't wait till he gives me this smile again with those big blue eyes.

Cooper made my bed into a big space ship and he said I can drive it if i want. So I think I'm going to go cuddle with my boys in bed and drive a big space ship.
Sounds like fun!

Yucky cold and a cute picture

This picture makes me smile. Cooper better watch out or his little brother looks like he going to be bigger then him before he knows it.

Both my boys are sick. With a yucky COLD. Well that's what the Doctor said. Cooper seems to be getting better but poor little Brewer looks horrible. So I'm taking him back to the doctor. Maybe I'm a over protective mom but it took way to long and was way to hard to get this little guy here. I don't understand does your baby have to stop breathing before they will give them something to help them get better? Or am i just the only one that thinks this?

I did it

and we had a blast!

These three never stopped playing

and these two are just so cute!
Kase is two months older then Brewer and they both are the same size.
Both are going to be football players and heart breakers.
and when you put them all together its trouble but with lots of fun!
And we had fun!

And we made it home safe.
I really did it.
I'm pretty proud of myself but I sure missed Josh.
Coop Dog kept on asking the whole trip if his dad missed him and then on the way home i asked him if he had fun and he said, "yes, but it would of been more fun if my dad was there."
Thanks Monty and Kendra we had a great time.
We already miss you guys!
Now its your turn to come stay with us.

I'm on my way!

Can you guess where?
Brewer's outfit says it all.
I'm going to visit my oldest brother Monty and his cute little family.
Me and my two boys.
My first trip by myself since I've been married.
Even Coop Dog asked me, "if i knew how to drive there?"
Why is everyone so worried?
Just because I get lost in Taylor doesn't mean a thing.
Haha!
So if you can say a little pray for me. I need all the help I can get.
Have a great weekend!
Lots of love,
Marti

We had a wonderful V-day!

It was full of love!

My boys spoiled me with a pretty necklace and of course a nice dinner. I think I like this! Being the only girl on V-day ROCKS!

LOVE

Today i just sat and watched these two play with each other. I had the biggest smile on my face. It was pure happiness. It made me think of those days at the park when Coop would come ask me, where was his brother because all of the other kids had brothers and i would tell him to go ask one of the kids if they could pretend to be his brother. Or when he would pray at night and ask for a brother to play with. Those were hard days for me. I was sad. I couldn't give my little boy what he wanted and I was sad that I couldn't give myself what my heart wanted. But today Coopers pray was answer and my heart is happy. I've also been worried that with Cooper and Brewer being so far apart in age that they wouldn't have much in common or even want to play with each other but i think its going to be okay. They love each other and that's all they really need is LOVE.

I just love him and that smile!

Blue balloon

My days usually start and end with both of my boys on my lap. I don't think I would have it any other way.
I thought this picture was pretty cool and it pretty much sums up how we start our mornings. Its our reflection in a mylar balloon.
Have a great Wednesday!

"I ate the whole darn bowl!".
